St. Barbara’s Church – Kutná Hora

Construction began in 1388 and continued until the late 1500s. At that time, all of the town’s wealth dried up with along with output from its silver mines. The roof was walled-up and wasn’t completed until 1884. It’s one of the most famous churches in central Europe and was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995.

These little frescos were everywhere. Apparently, an artist doodled these on the walls in the late 16th century.
